Nirmala Health and Wellness

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 May 2026. This policy explains how RAYAN AI HEALTHTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (“Nirmala Health”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit www.nirmala.health and related digital services.

⚠ Draft. Template only — must be reviewed by your legal counsel before publication.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how visitors use our pages. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage in your browser.

2. How we use cookies

  • Strictly necessary — required for the website to function (e.g. security, load balancing, remembering your chat session ID so Nivi can continue a conversation).
  • Functional — remember choices you make, such as dismissing banners or preferred centre, to improve your experience.
  • Analytics — help us understand traffic and page performance in aggregate. We do not use analytics to profile individual patients for advertising.

3. Cookies and storage we may use

  • Chat session — we store a session identifier in your browser's local storage so the Nirmala AI assistant can resume your conversation during the same visit.
  • Booking & forms — temporary data may be held in memory while you complete a booking or callback request; submitted data is handled under our Privacy Policy.
  • Third-party embeds — maps, social links, or WhatsApp may set their own cookies when you interact with them. Their use is governed by those providers' policies.

4. What we do not do

  • We do not sell cookie data or browsing history to advertisers.
  • We do not use cookies to make automated medical decisions about you.
  • Health information you share in chat or booking forms is processed under our Privacy Policy, not for ad targeting.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings — block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified before a cookie is set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site (including chat and booking) from working correctly.

To clear chat history stored locally, remove site data for nirmala.health in your browser, or start a new private/incognito window.

6. WhatsApp and messaging

If you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta's terms and privacy practices apply to messages sent through their platform. We use WhatsApp to confirm appointments and respond to care queries — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle that data.

7. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website or tools change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
